Use visual filters

Eliminate image editing tools from your workflow with Uiflow's visual filters. You can apply visual filters to your application background and individual components within your app.

Types of visual filters

Visual filters in Uiflow are divided into three categories:
Each category section includes a table with filter descriptions and examples. All examples are based on the image below.

Effects

Effect filters create visual effects by modifying or distorting the selected component. The following table describes available Effect filters.

Blur
Softens the selected component.

Color Adjustments

Color Adjustment filters alter the color balance and temperature of the selected component. The following table describes available Color Adjustment filters:

Brightness
Changes the lightness/darkness of the selected component.
Contrast
Increases/decreases contrast between colors in the selected component.
Hue Rotate
Shifts hues in the selected component.
Saturation
Increases/decreases the intensity of colors in the selected component.

Color Effects

Color Effect filters impact color-related characteristics of the selected component. The following table describes available Color Effect filters:
Filter
Description
Example
Grayscale
Removes color from the selected component.
Invert
Flips the colors in the selected component.
Sepia
Adds warm brown tones to the selected component.

Apply filters in Uiflow

To apply a filter in Uiflow:
  1. 1.
    Select the application background or a component.
  2. 2.
    Open the Styles tab and select Filters.
  3. 3.
    Click Add Filter and select the filter you want to use.
  4. 4.
    Select the filter and use the sliding scale to set the filter's intensity. The selected component updates as you slide the scale.
